From KRAFTLii recipes, a "make your own" face mask to moisturize and purify your skin.
It is not a dream, it is just Matcha!
This Japanese tea is well known around the world for all his powers, and often used in smoothies and healthy food. Not a surprise it is also a super ingredient for skincare and beauty products.
With its detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties, Matcha tea can prevent your skin from free radicals, acne and aging signs. This miraculous tea has also the power to reduce puffiness, skin irritations and eye circles (vitamin K).
Its intense green color comes from the high concentration of chlorophyll, that protects our skin from sun damage - and so wrinkles and sun spots. Chlorophyll also acts as a pores protector preventing clogging caused by environmental impurities.
For these reasons Matcha is the perfect ingredient for a great all-round face mask you can easily do at home! Here the recipe KRAFTLii is happy to share with you!
WHAT YOU NEED :
1 teaspoon of organic matcha powder (or 1 teabag of matcha tea infused in oat milk)
1 tablespoon of organic rice flour
2 tablespoons of oat milk (or almond milk)
1 - 2 drops of your favorite essential oil *
*Some KRAFTLii's suggestion e.o. based on their properties
Lavender (for fighting redness and pigment skin imperfection)
Tea tree (anti- inflammatory for treating acne lesion and sun damage)
Peppermint ( for soothing dry or irritated skin)
Rice flour will soft the skin, protecting it from free radicals and environmental aggressors.
Oat (or almond) milk will nourish and gently clean your face, keeling the skin supple and giving you a brighter smoother skin.
HOW TO :
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
Adjust the amount of milk in order to have a smooth but no-runny paste.
Wash accurately your face. Then apply a thin layer of the mask (excluding eye area).
You can use a natural brush as well as your fingers. Give it a 15 minutes time. In this time reapply the mask in all the areas already dry or soaked.
Rinse off the mask. For a gentle scrubbing action take off the mask using a wet cotton cloth pad.
Apply your usual face cream.
